Why did you go vegan?
Lionel went vegan when he was 4 when his parents went vegan. At first he was reluctant to give up his mac and cheese, but upon learning the realities of animal agriculture, he became a very confident and outspoken vegan kid. He hasn't looked back and says he wants to be vegan forever.
What is your fave vegan food?
Tofu stir-fry, pasta, every fruit, and black bean burritos
What is the #1 way you like to help animals?
By not eating them and encouraging others to do the same. He also helps support the Tamerlaine Animal Sanctuary where his favorite steer Diego lives. He has attended protests against the 4H program at a County fair, the NYC Animal Rights March, and done outreach at tabling events with NJVeg.
